Week of August 14th – The past week in running
Good week. Did 10 miles including two 5k’s. Will continue that pattern for the week and then move up to just 5k’s next week.
Saw this on the driveway yesterday. Fall is just around the corner!
Week of August 7th – This week in running
Getting out consistently now, 2 miles, 2 miles, rest, 3 miles.
Running update – race 3 – 5k
Did another 5k this weekend. That makes 3.
I have done ZERO running in between. I’ve lowered my time with each race. I’m now going to start a running program and plan for another 5k and then a 10k.
In fact I ran a couple of miles today. Should be cool to see the improvement.
Running update
Started running again after a long layoff. Did a small local run and got these results. I’ll take them 🙂
A new spray paint
An aside… I don’t like spray paint.
That said, this stuff by Behr is pretty good. Nice coverage, good nozzle.

The Bearded Irises are looking good
These are pretty good looking plants. Doing some work around the yard and saw these. Usually I miss them blooming because I’m off working.
Brewery: Rivers Edge
There is a great local brewery near us called “River’s Edge”. This is image from Sunday when we stopped in, had a pint and a ‘meat and cheese’ platter.

Gobble, Gobble said the Turkey
Nothing but your ordinary gobbler wandering around all puffed up.
They are pretty cool animals. We normally get the males wandering around from late Spring to early Fall.
Disc Golf in Hawaii – Kahului Community Park
Was able to get to Hawaii a few months ago and played the course @ Kahului Community Park. What a beautiful course. Try it out if you are in Maui.
