    I think it’s fair to say that I’m a pretty big fan of Lincoln. Pretty much read everything that I can get my hands on about him. 

    Below is a image that I took in Portland, OR and then modified in the PRISMA application with a filter.

  • The Wirecutter and ‘Inner Vision’

    One of my favorite web sites is ‘The Wirecutter’ over at thewirecutter.com. 

    Anytime I’m going to purchase something I run over to The Wirecutter (or thesweethome.com) and look for a review. If I find something there I use their link to purchase the item. 

    Anyway, they’ve got a great feature called ‘Inner Vision’ which is an assortment of interesting articles regarding a variety of topics.

  • An old Ski Nautique

    My Dad has owned an old ‘Ski Nautique’ ski boat for a few years. He likes it but wanted to move up to a slightly newer one. New being relative to the old boat. Here’s a shot of him dragging my brother’s son around the lake.

  • An old EP waterski

    Here we have a picture of an old EP water ski that was my brother and that I used A LOT back in the day. My Dad dragged it out to so the nephew’s could take a spin on it.

    This last image is one my wife took in Zandvoort, The Netherlands of a kid on a swing with the ocean in the background. The originals really good and I like this quite a bit as well.

  • Vatican digitizes a 1,600 year old epic

    Just saw this post. How cool would it be if the Vatican could do all of its documents?

  • Mom and her fawns

    We’ve lived here for 4 years now and each year there have been at least 1 fawn and up to 3 running around in the late Spring and Summer.

    This year we’ve got 1 doe with 2 fawns and another with 1.

    Another run, just a bit faster and consistently into the 9 minute mile mark.
