Stopped into the ‘Bohemian House’ restaurant last night. I have the Hungarian Langos and Butcher’s Goulash. Fantastic. I highly recommend the place. Located at 33 Illinois Street, Chicago, IL.

'Heart of Gold’ put me in the middle of the road. Traveling there soon became a bore, so I headed for the ditch.” – Neil Young, comments written for the liner notes of his 1977 compilation, Decade.

This is one of my favorite quotes. I learned this when working with daily newspapers and then with monthly magazines. Each would fill the amount of work that needed to be done to the time that was available. Newspapers would punch out 36 pages every day of content and magazines would push out 120+ pages.
Amazing how deadlines were rarely missed.
I think it’s fair to say that I’m a pretty big fan of Lincoln. Pretty much read everything that I can get my hands on about him.
Below is a image that I took in Portland, OR and then modified in the PRISMA application with a filter.
One of my favorite web sites is ‘The Wirecutter’ over at thewirecutter.com.
Anytime I’m going to purchase something I run over to The Wirecutter (or thesweethome.com) and look for a review. If I find something there I use their link to purchase the item.
Anyway, they’ve got a great feature called ‘Inner Vision’ which is an assortment of interesting articles regarding a variety of topics.
Check out the latest iteration here. My favorite item from this week’s list of items is this article. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
You can find a complete list of their blog posts here.
I’ve been looking to refresh my running music lists. Here’s a list of tunes from Outside Online. Not bad. I’ll post the list of 160 BPM tunes that I run to shortly. I’m open to suggestions!
Anyway, here’s the Outside post.
My Dad has owned an old ‘Ski Nautique’ ski boat for a few years. He likes it but wanted to move up to a slightly newer one. New being relative to the old boat. Here’s a shot of him dragging my brother’s son around the lake.
Here’s a shot of the ‘new’ one:
Nice morning. Going to get into the 90’s here this afternoon so decided that I had better get this in during the early AM.
Here we have a picture of an old EP water ski that was my brother and that I used A LOT back in the day. My Dad dragged it out to so the nephew’s could take a spin on it.
Heard about the Prisma app today. Fun app. Check out the two images below. The first picture is from my iPhone camera. Dawn at our house looking West.
This is from Prisma. Cool…
This last image is one my wife took in Zandvoort, The Netherlands of a kid on a swing with the ocean in the background. The originals really good and I like this quite a bit as well.
Just saw this post. How cool would it be if the Vatican could do all of its documents?
