'Heart of Gold’ put me in the middle of the road. Traveling there soon became a bore, so I headed for the ditch.” – Neil Young, comments written for the liner notes of his 1977 compilation, Decade.

I was in the The Keys not too long ago and took this image. Really nice day…

It’s a bit cold here… -13 degrees below zero Fahrenheit

I was in New York early this week and took this pic. It was a grey day but relatively warm. I liked that the building just disappears into the low hanging clouds.

We were in Traverse City this weekend and had a nice view on the bay. Quite beautiful…

We have a few hawks in the area but they mostly hang out near the wetlands behind us. In this case (see upper right of photo) this one flew to the front. Hunting, I think, chipmunks.

Here’s a shot looking out our back window. We live on a former lake that has become swampy and will eventually will turn into a meadow.

Always nice to go to Eastern Market. Fall makes it even better. Took a couple of, admittedly, not terribly interesting pics.

Not the greatest picture but this is the first time I’ve seen an Owl out here. Lots of red-tailed hawks.
I just happened to catch him (her?) flying out the corner of my eye.
