The subways that I’ve known in New York since the early 1990’s are nothing like this. New York has done a great job of cleaning up the subway system. 

They are my favorite way of getting around New York…other than walking!

So yesterday I did a ‘5 mile’ run that took 7 miles to complete. The run also included a 800 foot increase in elevation. So a bit tough for me. 

Below is a portion of the route from Nike Plus. I managed to complete the first part of the run accidentally as I was checking to see where the heck I was. The first part of the run was from end of this run through Memory Grove. 

This one made me chuckle. The idea is great. The kids are excited. the tools are off the shelf.
